Painting Giraffes is Hard

They're Fun, But Hard.

These giraffes take a fair amount of time

and patience.

But they are fun and they look really cute when they're done.

Sometimes, 

painting something hard is good.

You have a feeling of accomplishment.

I did it!

It was hard and I did it.

I think all the kids who painted the giraffes felt that.

This is from the Tuesday night class.

This is from the Saturday afternoon class.

These giraffe paintings are hard because there is a lot of color changing,

lights and darks, warms and cools.

Lots of thinking and decisions to make.

 

Tuesday night class

Saturday class.

We painted a whole herd of giraffes. 

Even though these were hard, they did a great job.
