Learning to Paint

Shortly after I opened River Run Gallery Fun Art Studio

Sandy came in and wanted to take a class.

She said she always wanted to paint, but a teacher had told her she was no good at it.

Well,

she wasn't going to let those words stop her forever.

She came.

She painted.

She improved.

Tonight she painted an intermediate level painting

and did a wonderful job.

Sandy likes painting landscapes and 

this painting had lots of different parts of a landscape.

She painted snow,

trees,

a rocky road

a mountain

and a cabin.

She did a great job!

One of the reasons Sandy does so well is she comes to learn.

She listens and takes direction.  

She practices at home.

She paints lots of different things.

She never gives up.  

Here she is signing her finished painting.  

Never give up on your dream. 

Even if you think you might never accomplish it,

Keep working,

 keep moving forward,

keep practicing,

keep improving,

But most of all,

Keep Dreaming!
