Painting Iris Aren't as Hard

as You Thought.

I'm pretty sure you thought these iris were too hard to paint.

But they are one of the easiest flowers yet.

The background is in with lots of different shades of greens and yellows and 

the first blooms are going in.

You can see in the background practice petals on paper 

as Sheryl learned how to paint the iris.  

 Sheryl is putting the yellow centers in her iris.

It's funny how when you paint those in,

They really become iris and take shape.

Here she is adding the stems.  

It's hard to add green stems on top of all that green,

but she did it.
