Sylvia Brestel - Fiber Artist

This is a 100% silk collar Sylvia made.

Sylvia works mainly with raw fibers such as wool and silk and creates beautiful, colorful and interesting items.  Her items are made either through a wet or dry felting process where the fibers actually bond together rather than knitted or crocheted.  Sylvia has a collection of purses, scarves, bowls, jewelry and some whimsical items at River Run Gallery.

You can view Sylvia's work live and in color in River Run Gallery and on her website at www.feltedfeather.com
You can email Sylvia at smbrestel@gmail.com about a custom piece for you.

Mary Ebert - Jeweler

This is Mary Ebert updating her spring jewelry line.

Mary makes beautiful jewelry using beautiful glass, gemstones, crystals, gold and silver and it is gorgeous.  Her jewelery is not only beautiful but also is affordable.  I love her jewelery because she makes pieces using gold as well as silver.  I'm a gold wearer.

Jeremy Cobb - Drawing teacher

Jeremy recently joined River Run Gallery as a drawing teacher.  He brings a Masters of Fine Arts Degree to the table with a particular interest in drawing.  He will be teaching a six lesson course on drawing where attendees will receive the benefit of his talent and education as they learn to draw and improve their drawing skills.  This course is meant for beginners and then after the six lessons most will be able to move on to an intermediate level and a new beginning level will be formed.

Because Jeremy is teaching a course where each class builds on the one before it, students will need to make a commitment to take all the classes.  It's not the type of class where if you miss we can slide someone else in in your spot.

Jeremy's talent and abilities will carry him far and we are lucky to have a teacher of his caliber in Carrollton, Ky.

Kristen Sherrard Beck - Photographer

Kristen is a local girl who is an editor/reporter/photographer for a local paper, The News-Democrat.  Her photography is of local scenery in Carroll County, KY as well as many other places, such as New York City, Cincinnati, Nova Scotia and many other places.  Her photos come matted and ready for framing.  She also does portraiture work.  Kristen's work would make a great addition to any home or office.  If you see something you like, but not in a size you want, please contact us and she will make it up special for you.

Sharon Graves - acrylic painter
Sharon is an acrylic and water mixable oil painter and has been at it almost daily for over five years.  Her subject matter is usually things in nature such as landscapes, florals, and farm animals, but has been known to paint the occasional Kentucky Wildcat basketball.  (Don't hate me).
