Videos

These are very short videos of classes taught at
 River Run Gallery

These videos are examples of classes taught at River Run Gallery.
They aren't lessons in themselves, but show students painting and having fun.

Several ladies recently painted poinsettias.

I visited some brownies recently and a painting party broke out.

Recently we had a baby shower in the gallery where the guests each painted a letter of the new baby's name on a 10" x 10" block.  I guess I could havecalled it a block party.

Painting snow men in the gallery on a Saturday afternoon.

Lots of FUN going on in the Fun Art Studio

Snow men in the creation stage.

Painting Snow men garden tiles.

We've had several classes painting koi fish recently.

This group of teachers at Kathryn Winn Elementary school
painted a pumpkin patch after school one day.
Boy did we have fun!

Painting pumpkin garden stones was the mission for this group.

We had date night in the gallery and this lovely couple
painted mirror images of the gerbera daisy so they could hand together
over a sofa or bed.  Way cute!

We were painting hydrangea garden stones here.

We had a mother and two daughters come in an paint roosters.

This has been one of our most popular classes.

Aidan finishing the background of his rooster painting.
The top portion is barn wood and the bottom portion is straw the rooster will be standing in.

Five-year old Aidan wanted to paint a rooster painting I have taught to adults several times,
so we did.  This is the beginning of the painting.
This should help convince you you CAN do it.

Just in case you thought we don't have fun or you couldn't do this,
check out these ladies as they complete Three In A Jar.

Finishing their first paintings in art camp.

This video is from art camp for 10-14 year olds.  Art camp went for four weeks and art concepts such as color mixing, perspective, composition, how to see, highlights and shadows, and put them into practice by completing many exercises and two 16" x 20" paintings.
