And The Amount is Final

Carroll County Student Artists Raised . .

Drum Roll pleeease. . .

$218.60!!!!!

My student artists are the best.  They put themselves out there by having their art on display and having people vote on their art with cold hard cash.

The painting that raised the most money in the adult category was. . .
Monica Daniel with her pansies.

Monica raised $28.63

Monica wins five tubes of professional acrylic paint valued at $60.

Lily Frye won first place int he children's division by raising $14.32 with her giraffe.

Lily, a student at Kathryn Winn elementary school also wins 5 tubes of student grade acrylic paint valued at $40.

Sandy Hirn won 2nd place in the adult category by raising $25.49 with her painting
Sunflowers in a Jar

Sandy wins a free class valued at $40.

Rileigh Darnold won 2nd place in the children's division raising $8.33 with
Daisies.

Rileigh is also a student at Kathryn Winn  and will receive a free class valued at $25.

This has been a fun project and I would like to thank all the student artists who participated.
We had 27 pieces of art and I learned a lot and I think my students learned a lot.
We had a great reception where so many people came in and voted for their favorite paintings with their cold hard cash.

All the money raised goes to Carroll County Animal Support.
My understanding is that it takes approximately $150 to spay one animal,
so we have enough for one and maybe some dog food or whatever they need.

If you did not get to come in to see the show,
here is a little video of the the artwork on display.

All artists can now come in and pick up their art.

And again, thanks to everyone who made this possible.
