Pumpkin Slates

Pumpkin Slates?

What are pumpkin slates?
Well, I have acquired some slate roofing shingles,
they used to actually be the shingles on buildings at the beginning of the 20th century.

They have two holes in each where they were nailed onto a roof, they are gray in color and are so fun to paint on.

Here's a little video of what craziness when on in the gallery today.

We had lots of giggles and goofiness
as we painted two pumpkins on each slate.

Now check out the finished product.

 Check out these gorgeous girls
and their super duper pumpkins.

I'll be teaching this same class, Thursday, Sept.17,
6-8 p.m. $35.

We'll be painting another fall slate on
Wednesday, Sept. 23, 10-noon.  This one involves pumpkins and a Scarecrow.

Don't forget to go and check out my new online beginning painting course at https://www.paintingwithacrylics101.com.
Be on the look out for a few free videos from the course so you can see how it works.

Thanks for stopping by today,
and let the paint force be with you.
