Weather Report

Partly Cloudy and A Chance of Art

Tuesday night the advanced drawing course met
to learn about pastel charcoal
and how to draw clouds, trees, barns, silos,
and other landscape items.

We started off the class with instructor Jeremy Cobb
introducing us to pastel charcoal.
Boy, that stuff can be messy,
but it is so interesting to work with.

This is getting close to being done but not quite!

Next he taught us how to draw clouds.
Clouds are hard to paint,
but I think they are harder to draw.

Jeremy is working on blue paper
and that cloud just pops!

Jeremy said he might just throw in a barn.

He did a pretty super job of throwing in that barn,
for a city kid.  hehehehehe

This is where he was at the end of class

.
Julie, a student and Jeremy's sister was drawing along with him.
We know,
she's an over achiever!

Great job.

Now we all have to do our own landscape.

Can't wait to see how they turn out.

Please contact me if you would like in on a beginning art course,
or. . .
we'll be having one night classes in the very near future.
