Painting Party at Elk Creek Vineyards

Sunflower Power

Saturday I traveled to Elk Creek Vineyard
to help a great group of ladies celebrate
a birthday!

It's so much fun to have a posse'
and get together to celebrate birthdays and
other important events.

You can see the creative juices begin to flow
in their smiles.

 Today's world!
Painting and posting!

 We're getting close to finishing.

Here's a little video as these fun ladies
enjoyed lunch
and painting at Elk Creek Vineyards.

It's tough to get a photo that includes everyone,
but somehow I did it.

Look at that garden of beauty!
Ladies and flowers!

If you've never been to Elk Creek Vineyards,
you might want to get it on your calendar for a day trip.
It is in a rather remote spot in Owen County,
but,
you'll be handsomely rewarded for the effort to arrive.

They have a clay shooting venue where they have several trails to shoot clay pigeons.
They have the vineyards and the winery.
They pay attention to every detail in the winery/restaurant
and the food and the atmosphere looked wonderful.

  1. That looks like a lot of fun. Food and wine provided....cant go wrong with that.
Do you start them off with a blank canvas or do they follow a pattern?
